About Me & My Style

Growing up in Missouri, I was lucky to spend my childhood shared between a small rural town west of St. Louis and the Ozarks. With its gentle rolling hills, shimmering lakes, rivers and vibrant sunsets, my appreciation for water and nature grew.  As I became older this love never faded, so it was an easy decision in college to pursue my degree in Art.  I worked as a graphic artist for a short time, but desired to view and experience more of the world, leading to a 30-year-career as a flight attendant.

My paintings reflect a unique blend of my love for the Post-impressionism and Contemporary Realism styles.  My goal is to create a moment for the viewer to see something differently or unique, and experience a connection to the work.

Living now along the gulf coast of South Alabama, my work is inspired by my travels throughout the years and the landscapes and beauty of the regions I love.

"I love when a painting draws me in, making me imagine I could or should be there!"
